INFERTILITY

I have been actively involved in caring for infertile couples for over 25 years. The fertility services that we provide are based on "Total Couple Care". This means that I have provided enough time to listen to your concerns and answer your questions. I have adopted a Holistic approach to infertility management which includes attention to weight control, life style and provides counselling where required.

In addition I specialize in couples that have been unsuccessful up to now and are searching for a complete review with one on one care.

We are able to undertake the most comprehensive infertility investigations of both the male and female partners as listed below:

Male

·   Comprehensive Semen analysis using Strict Criteria assessment

·   Hormonal and genetic aspects of male fertility

·   Options for sperm freezing in order to preserve fertility

Female

·   Tests of ovulation and egg quality

·   Complete testing of the reproductive pathway

This includes ultrasounds, HSG, diagnostic and operative laparoscopy and hysteroscopy.

·   Recurrent miscarriage testing

In addition we provide a full range of personalized treatment options, which include:

·   Assisted reproduction (IVF, ICSI, Blastocyst culture, sperm, egg, and embryo freezing, surgical sperm collection, genetic testing and Pre-implantation genetic testing).

·   Ovulation induction and Intra Uterine Insemination (OI&IUI)

·   Donor sperm, oocytes (eggs) & embryos

·   Surgical correction of uterine tubal and ovarian problems including pelvic adhesions, endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts and polyps. Hysteroscopic tubal cannulation to overcome some cases of blocked tubes.

GYNAECOLOGY

My regular gynaecological practice is involved with undertaking routine gynaecological
check-ups including breast checks, PAP smears, ultrasounds and colposcopy where needed. My interest in reproductive endocrinology extends to include menstrual disorders, contraception and menopausal management.

Complementing these services I perform both Hysteroscopic and Laparoscopic
Surgery (Level III) . This form of keyhole surgery is commonly used for the treatment of fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic fertility enhancing surgery, ovarian surgery including
cysts and laparoscopic hysterectomy. The advantage of keyhole surgery is a significant reduction in post-operative pain and significant shortening of recovery times.

A special and significant feature of my practice is my ability of offer a Multidisciplinary Approach . Today with the explosion of knowledge a individual Gynaecologist cannot successfully provide all the expertise needed to care for the special needs of all patients.
With this in mind I have specifically developed associations with a number of
Subspeciality experts. With Subspecialists in Urogynaecology (urinary incontinence),
Pelvic Floor Repairs (prolapse) and Oncology (gynaecological cancers), together with appropriate paramedical services I am able to ensure expert and comprehensive gynaecological care for my patients.
